Nurse in the Works was created by Dr. Amber McCall as a resource for nursing students seeking licensure by the NCLEX-RN® Exam.

Hello!
My name is Dr. McCall, and I am a Registered Nurse, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and nurse researcher.
I enjoy nursing & absolutely love teaching. My professional nursing history includes intensive care, medical-surgical nursing, hospice & primary care. I have experience teaching in both pre-licensure (Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Clinical Nurse Leader – MSN, Model C) & Family Nurse Practitioner programs. My research interests include faith & health, health decision-making, & education
I’m married to my best friend, have six nieces/nephews & live in Georgia. I love to travel and learn new things. I have four fur-babies, all Siberian Huskies.
